About The Camp

We're passionate about one thing... Your success

Our campers will learn the game of soccer from a new level.

You have wanted to send your child to camps that cost hundreds of dollars and you couldn’t because it costs too much or you paid hundreds of dollars for their camp and your child said they learned nothing different than what was taught at practice.

Here is just a sample of what they will learn at the Annual Mike Herman and Carter Dyke Memorial FREE Soccer Camp:

  • How to respect and love the game of soccer and life
  • Soccer etiquette
  • Small sided games
  • We use these small sided games to learn confidence with our new drills so we can apply them in real game situations.
    • One vs One
    • Two vs Two
    • Three vs Three
    • Four vs Four
  • Full field games:
    • Putting it all together on the field in real speed and in real games.
  • Individual Drills n Skills:
    • Speed
    • Dribbling
    • Passing
    • Shooting
    • Defense
    • Shielding
    • Scoring
    • Basic gameplay
    • “Seeing” the field
    • Soccer language
    • When and to use these skills in a real game

The camp will end in a tourney the last day.

Water will be provided every day for the children.

What to bring/wear:

They will need to wear shorts, soccer cleats or sneakers as well as shin guards.   A Mike Herman and Carter Dyke Memorial Free performance away t-shirt will be given upon day one registration as well.

No Cleats...No Problem

On the first day of camp, we partner with CLEATS FOR KIDS to fit campers with gently used cleats.

CLEATS FOR KIDS is a “collect and share” program dedicated to gathering and distributing gently used soccer equipment. It was the brainchild of the WARMONE WOMEN’S SOCCER TEAM. The Warmones are players and parents with children in the sport of soccer.  Children outgrow their soccer cleats often before they are no longer useful. Most of this soccer equipment ends up in the back of the closet-still in very good condition.

The WARMONES believe that it is important to make these gently used soccer cleats available to families that may be limited by the expense of new shoes. CLEATS FOR KIDS welcomes shoes, balls, jerseys, shorts and other soccer-related equipment. The items are sorted, cleaned and distributed to local soccer programs, school programs and sometimes, mission projects overseas.

Your gently used and forgotten equipment can fulfill a dream for someone else…
